Let’s talk about it—really talk about it.

Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet stigma and misinformation continue to hold people back from seeking support. â›”

Here are a few common myths we need to leave behind:

❌ “Therapy is only for people with serious problems.”✅ Truth: Therapy is for anyone seeking growth, support, or a safe place to process life.

❌ “If I take medication, it means I’m weak.”✅ Truth: Taking medication for your mental health is no different than taking insulin for diabetes.

❌ “Talking about mental health makes people uncomfortable, so it’s better to stay quiet.”✅ Truth: Silence fuels stigma. Speaking up opens doors to healing.

Mental health struggles are human struggles. Let’s challenge the shame and rewrite the narrative—together. #georgiacounselor #southcarolinacounselor #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #BreakTheStigma #TrulyHerCounseling #MentalHealthMatters #EndTheStigma #TherapyIsForEveryone #YouAreNotAlone
